When purchasing an inflatable dog camping bed, you want to make sure it is a quality one and durable enough for your dog. You do not want the bed to get holes and leave your pup sleeping on the ground.

The elevated dog bed comes in two sizes to fit a variety of dog breeds. The large cot can hold up to 100 lbs. However, I would be careful buying this if your dog weighs more than 80-85 lbs. One of my dogs is 90 lbs, and I think it would be a tight fit for him.

Made from a Polyester Fiberfill, the travel bed is easy to clean, dries quickly, and you can easily brush off dog hair and dirt. The pad is cushioned and provides a comfortable spot for your pup.

You can choose between two sizes. The small size bed is recommended for pets up to 28 pounds, and the large bed is recommended for dogs up to 80 pounds. However, if you have a long dog, they can’t stretch out and may not fit on the bed.

Similar to the Furhaven Trail Pup Sack, the Chuckit Travel Pillow provides a high-quality product at a low cost. Another similar feature to the Furhaven is that the Chuckit rolls up in a travel bag, is water-resistant, is easy to clean, and is breathable for a quick dry out.

The main difference between the two camping dog beds is the Chuckit has a quilted poly-suede top, while the Furhaven’s is a polyester material. The poly-suede will be a little bit softer bed for your pup to lay on than the polyester.

A con of the Chuckit is that it only comes in one size. So if you have a large or extra-large dog, this may not be the best dog camping bed for you.

3. Storage Bag for Dog Food: We love this storage bag from Kurgo to transport our dogs food during our trips. It holds 5 lbs of food, which is approximately 20-25 cups and can easily be a weeks worth of dog food for one dog. It is also durable and convenient for travel and transport.
   
4. Collapsable Dog Bowl: Another must have for your dog camping trip is a portable water and food bowl. This dog bowl from Ruffwear is perfect because it is lightweight, durable, and collapsible. We prefer the microsuede material over the silicone ones because they last longer and our dogs will not chew on them.
   
5. Kurgo Dog Pack: I use our dog pack all of the time, especially now that we have two dogs. I have them carry their water, snacks, and dirty poop bags. It frees up my hands, lightens my pack, and my dog barely notices that it’s on. Definitely a win-win.
